It is true that Spring doesn't come fast or easily here in the mitten state but that doesn't have to stop us from preparing what we're going to wear once the glorious Michigan summer arrives. What are you going to put on your feet after you kick off your waterproof boots for the season? What warm weather footwear is out there to serve your Spring and Summer needs? And what if you wear orthotic inserts or have unusually wide or narrow feet or need extra arch support? The questions go on and on. Historically, finding appropriate warm weather footwear has been a challenge for those of us with "special feet." I'm happy to report that the comfort sandal industry has come a long way in the last few years. Not only have the aesthetics improved across the board, so have the fit characteristics in the sandals we carry. We now have many sandals that work with orthotic inserts, provide high levels of arch support, lateral stability and that fit wide and narrow feet. We are bursting at the seams with comfortable AND stylish Spring and Summer footwear! Pictured are a few of the sandals we carry from the brand, Naot. And yes, all of these pretty sandals accommodate orthotic inserts!

We had a phenomenal time at Mast Shoes last year. Thank you! Throughout the year, our store was bussling with all kinds of friendly folks and the feet that came along with them. We watched many of those feet walk out the door in a much happier condition than when they came in. And that makes US happy.

2007 is a year we are proud of for a number of reasons. We were awarded Current Magazine's "Best Shoe Store in Washtenaw County" title as well as the Ann Arbor News Reader's Choice Award for "Best Shoe Store in Ann Arbor." Many thanks to our community for showing your support by voting in our favor! It is so nice to know that you like us as much as we like you.

Mast Shoes saw some big changes in our sales team in July when Bob Beck retired after 42 years with us, and then again in October when Jo Watson retired after 15 years with us. We are very proud of the service each of them provided to the community at the store. Thank you! We miss you, Jo and Bob!

Even though we're half way through February, we'd like to wish you a Happy New Year anyway and again say Thank You for being a part of making last year so successful for Mast Shoes.
